Bringing Love and Empathy to the Sought After Orphanage

As part of our ongoing commitment to uplift and support vulnerable communities, the African Crusade for Health and the Environment (ACHE) recently conducted a heartfelt outreach visit to the Sought After Orphanage (SAO) in the Ajah area of Lagos State. This initiative is part of our B.L.E.S.S. (Bringing Love and Empathy to the Sick and Stricken) project, which aims to provide compassionate support to those in need.

About Sought After Orphanage:

Established in 2008, SAO serves as a safe haven for displaced and disenfranchised children from Lagos State and its surrounding areas. Currently, the orphanage accommodates 40 children, aged between 4 to 16 years, in a cozy and spacious duplex located at No. 17 Baale Close, Owode Bus Stop, Langbasa, Ajah. The facility is thoughtfully designed, offering ample space for comfortable living, educational activities, and recreational fun. Under the caring guidance of its founder, Mrs. Caroline Oyaide, SAO has become a nurturing environment for these children, fostering hope and growth.

A Day of Joy and Connection:

During our recent visit, the B.L.E.S.S. team had the privilege of spending a joyful day filled with fun, games, and meaningful interactions with the children and their dedicated teachers. It was a heartwarming experience to engage with the kids, witnessing their laughter and joy as we shared in various activities together. The enthusiasm of the children and the gratitude expressed by the teachers made our visit truly memorable. We are delighted to report that both the children and staff conveyed profound appreciation for our outreach and expressed hope for our future visits.
