Project Update – Idumu Ogwude Water Borehole Project: Progress in Action

We’re excited to provide you with a much-anticipated update on the “Idumu Ogwude Water Borehole Project” in Ogwashi-Uku, Delta State. The project, initiated by the African Crusade for Health and the Environment (ACHE) last October, is still very much in progress, and the impact it promises is becoming more apparent every day.

Ongoing Transformation:

Our dedicated team has been working tirelessly on-site to bring clean and safe water to the residents of Idumu Ogwude, a Delta State Community in Ogwasi-Uku where the water table is at an average depth of 350 meters exacerbating the community challenge with accessing portable water. Despite the challenges, we are steadily making progress. The borehole construction is advancing using a manual hand dug approach to ensure future sustainable maintenance capacity, and we are now in the final stages of completion. This means that the community is closer than ever to having a reliable source of clean water.

Residents have been working hand-in-hand with our team, demonstrating their commitment to the success of this endeavor.
